Kelsey Wishik is an avid movement practitioner with over 20 years of athletic experience. Her background includes soccer, softball, track and field, Taekwondo, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, kickboxing, contact improv, intuitive and contemporary dance. Kelsey has her Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She has received her 200hr Yoga Teacher Certification and is in process of completing her advanced 500hr YTT with experience in various yoga forms including Hatha, Power Yoga, Yin, Kundalini, and Iyengar.
Meditation and pranayama (breath work) practices are integrated into her movement offerings and explorations. Emphasis is placed on an intuitive approach to the holistic integration of the body and mind with subtle, energetic, spiritual, and environmental systems. She structures her movement programs and practices with strong consideration of Chinese Medicine and the Five Elements: wind, water, earth, fire, and ether. Her experience extends to outdoor recreation (SUP, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, cycling, obstacle courses) and exploration of varied wilderness terrains (bouldering, climbing, hiking, river fording, rustic camping, navigating, habitat building)
